One Flattened musket ball from Plancenoit
Description
Flattened musket balls found in 2004 by a British collector at Plancenoit
In uncleaned condition
Pictured are a few from that batch found in 2004 you will receive one.
An estimated 3.5 million musket balls were fired at Waterloo but it is rare to have the location recorded. We have several batches up for sale and each one is identified as coming from a specific area of the field. Dates of finds are included where known.
One of a kind.
Condition and shape will vary but nearly all of these are almost flattened and misshapen The terrain in and around Plancenoit was completely different from the rest of the battlefield and much of the later fighting took place in and around buildings.
