Jean Sully of Fontainebleau collection Early 1900s

The Jean Sully collection of Fontainebleau was an early 1900s Waterloo battlefield relic assortment. Unique in that the owner placed typed paper labels on the back of each piece. Full provenance was detailed and many items were purchased from the Cotton museum auction of 1909. A good part of the collection was then acquired by Derek saunders and placed in the Broadstairs waterloo museum. when that museum closed in 1999 some of the items were placed in storage and eventually we bought the remains of the entire collection. Listed below are the items from the Sully collection and more will be added over the coming weeks.
